We’re proud to re-release the TIGERELLA dress in American-made indigo denim. We’ve improved the cut and fit of this dress by making minor changes and edits and are pleased with the results.
Earlier this year we were able to get our hands on a limited amount of Cone denim, and therefore only have enough to produce 4 dresses. This denim is 12 oz weight and is on the lighter end of the mid-weight denims. 12 oz denim is considered ideal for year-round wear.
Cone denim has been the leading supplier of high-quality American-made denim since 1891. At the end of 2017, Cone closed their 112-year old White Oak plant located in Greensboro, North Carolina. The denim used to make this limited batch of TIGERELLA dresses is some of the last American-made denim produced by Cone in their North Carolina plant. They continue today to produce denim from their plants in China and Mexico.
The TIGERELLA denim dress has raw hem and sleeve edges. Hem and ruffled sleeves are stay stitched at 1/4 inch to prevent further fraying. Side panels and neckline and bound in bias tape. Scoop neck and back.
